Women in Medicine
Q: I was just browsing the web when I came across your website. What a great
role model Dr. Donnica is for women worldwide who are interested in medicine.
After having two children I realize that we need a greater emphasis on better
ways of administering women's health. Have you ever considered starting a scholarship
for women who wish to pursue this line of work? I enter medical school this
fall and am looking for ways to pay the $27,000/year tuition!!

Good luck with your journey into medicine. As a mother of two myself, I give
you a lot of credit for doing this while raising your kids. Have you discovered

I would love to be able to offer a scholarship for women medical students--we
will make this a goal for DrDonnica.com! In the meantime, there are several
other sources of scholarships for women medical students. For starters, contact
the financial aid officer or Director of Students at the medical school you
will be attending. Also, I strongly recommended joining the American
Medical Women's Associations. In addition to being a terrific way to meet
and get to know other women medical students and physicians, they offer several
scholarships and interest-free loans to women medical students.
