

Do You Or A Loved One Have The Warning Signs Of Alzheimer's Disease?
Alzheimer's disease is not just memory loss related to aging.
People with Alzheimer's disease have a progressive decline in all of their mental
functions -- including memory, thinking and understanding. In addition, they
have changes in behavior. The following list of warning signs is based on information
from the Alzheimer's Association. If you or a loved one have two or more of
the following warning signs, it's time to consult a physician.
___ | Memory loss that affects job skills or activities of daily living |
___ | Difficulty performing familiar tasks |
___ | Problems with speech or language |
___ | Being disoriented to time and place (not knowing where you are or what
time or what day it is). |
___ | Impaired judgment |
___ | Problems with abstract thinking |
___ | Frequently misplacing things or getting lost in familiar surroundings |
___ | Changes in mood or behavior |
___ | Changes in personality |
___ | Loss of initiative |
