When A Headache Is A Medical Emergency
While we often joke that the treatment of headache is "take two aspirin
and call me in the morning", sometimes a severe headache is actually a medical
emergency. How do you know when a headache means you're "just" stressed out
and need a nap or when it means call your doctor right away? These tips should
help. Consult your physician immediately if you would check off any of the
following:
___
Your headache is the worst headache of your life.
___

___

or bending.
___
You experience your first severe headache after the age of 50.
___
You have visual changes/disturbances immediately before the headache or
along with it.
___
