Link Between Obesity and Alzheimer's
A recent study (7/03) in the medical journal the Archives of Internal
Medicine suggests yet another reason for women to maintain a healthy
weight. They found that overweight women may have an increased risk of developing
Alzheimer's disease. Researchers described the relationship between being
overweight at age 70 and later developing Alzheimer's disease as "striking."
