

National Women's Health Expert Launches Daily Radio Report To Educate Women about Health Issues

PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 22, 2000 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted women's health expert and gynecologist Donnica Moore, MD, will take her vital information and advice to the airwaves with the launch of "Dr. Donnica's Women's Health Report," a 90-second women's health update airing each weekday beginning Sept. 25 on radio stations across the county.
"Dr. Donnica's Women's Health Report" will highlight a myriad of women's health concerns from contraception to menopause, infertility to pregnancy and headaches to heart disease. It will also include interviews with celebrities who'll share their personal experiences and ways in which they dealt with various health issues. The first month will feature supermodel/actress Lauren Hutton. September was chosen for the program's launch because it is Women in Medicine Month. As September is also Menopause Awareness Month, the first five segments will address this topic.
"With all of the myths and misperceptions circulating about women's health, women are in desperate need of accurate information to help them make the right decisions for themselves and their families. This program is intended to provide just that," said Dr. Moore.
