

NJ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Association Conference
(10/9/06): The New Jersey Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Association (NJCFSA) and Monmouth Medical Center will be hosting their annual conference on Sunday, October 22, 2006 from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm at the Sheraton Conference Center, Sheraton Eatontown Hotel in Eatontown, NJ. Entitled
"MANAGING SYMPTOMS & EXPLORING NEW RESEARCH FOR THE CFS PATIENT",
the conference will feature presentations by nationally recognized physicians and other leaders in the field of chronic fatigue syndrome.
Guest speakers include Dr. Lucinda Bateman, who will discuss the many "Tips and Travails of Treatment". Dr. Bateman is a general internist who specializes in the treatment of CFS and fibromyalgia in Salt Lake City Utah. Both Dr. Susan Levine and Dr. Benjamin Natelson will discuss research updates in CFS.
The conference will also begin with a luncheon and time to peruse featured exhibits.
The New Jersey CFS Association, Inc., is a not-for-profit, tax exempt organization whose purpose is to support patients, disseminate reliable information, and promote research. It sponsors a wide range of activities, including: support groups, newsletter, phone list, statewide conferences, hotline, and interfacing with the CFS community. NJCFSA is affiliated with the CFIDS Association of America and the American Association for CFS. Dr. Donnica Moore is a member of the Board of Trustees of the NJCFSA.
