Colon Cancer Symptons
Q: What are the signs and symptoms of colon cancer?
Dr. Donnica: As with most cancers, the signs and symptoms of colon cancer can also be "normal"
abnormalities or signs and syptoms of many other diseases and conditions. The
warning symptoms that should send you to the doctor for evaluation include:
- a decreased appetite or unexplained weight loss
- fatigue or unexplained anemia
- abdominal pain or cramps
- a change in bowel habits such as prolonged diarrhea or severe constipation
or
- noticing any blood in the stool or rectal bleeding.
If you have these symptoms is doesn't mean you have colon (or any other) cancer.
It just means you need further evaluation.
